  • Training on how to create and customize graphics using (free) design tools/apps

Every year Weantinoge participates in a 36-hour online give-a-thon called Give Local. It's like a local version of Giving Tuesday that the Connecticut Community Foundation (CCF) organizes and contributes some matching funds to donations received in this window.
It's a great concept, but our donors are confused about where and how to donate because the gifts have to be made through CCF's page.
We'd like help creating social media content about Give Local as well as our normal work.

What we have in place
  • We currently have Examples from 2018, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have beautiful photos of nature and people enjoying nature, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,607 , allowing us to improve our hiking trails so more families can enjoy nature.

Improving the images we use on social media for this special online give-a-thon (Give Local 2019) will increase the amount of money we can raise in a short amount of time.

  • Volunteer Manager shares with Professional the intended platform(s) where graphics will be posted, ideas for copy, and images to include in the graphics (if any)
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss the objective of the graphic, key audiences, and visual branding guidelines (if applicable)
  • Volunteer Manager shares examples of graphics or memes they like with the Professional

Milestone 1: Preliminary Design
  • Professional drafts three graphics using different themes to share with the Volunteer Manager
  • Volunteer Manager chooses one draft as a primary theme and provides feedback

Milestone 2: Graphic Creation
  • Professional provides Volunteer Manager with first draft of graphic
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with up to three rounds of feedback

Milestone 3: Final Graphic Delivered and Training
  • Professional delivers final version of the graphic and explains how to upload image(s) to the Organization’s chosen platform(s)
  • Professional trains Volunteer Manager how to create and customize graphics
