  • Note: This project does not include on-site event coordination or support on the day of the event. Related projects that may be completed in parallel are the Event Vendor Selection project, the Event Publicity Plan project, and the Event Budget Plan project
What we have in place
  • We currently have resource material from pass events, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have plans to have it in the 4th quarter, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to contract more help

To expand the brand of AABLI and to create an event that can product a new revenue stream.

  • Volunteer Manager introduces staff and/or volunteers available to help with event execution

  • Professional connects with Volunteer Manager for a brainstorming session
  • Professional drafts event concept and programming proposal
  • Professional conducts research on vendors and compiles suggestions based on event budget
  • Professional drafts project management timeline, roles and responsibilities, and day-of-event schedule

The mission of the African American Board Leadership Institute is to strengthen nonprofit, public and private organizations through recruiting, preparing and assisting with the placement of African American professionals on a broad range of governing boards.

What we do

AABLI's target populations are 1) African American professionals who wish to serve on governing boards, and 2) organizations (nonprofits, foundations, commissions and corporations) seeking skilled professionals and ethnic diversity on their boards.
