Project details

What we need
  • Strategy for using Instagram to engage your community, tailored to Organization’s goals and target audience
  • Training on how to find and post content on Instagram
Additional details

Our organization has been on Instagram for some time, but we have seen little growth. We are looking to expand our reach and increase our promotion of our art exhibits/events and see if Instragram can serve as a platform for art sales.

What we have in place
  • We currently have an Instargam account, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have 3 people who want to learn - 1 person manages the account, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to keep our exhibition space running, which exhibits almost 200 artists annually.

Our organization has provided consistent support for NJ/NY area artists since 2001. We need to know the best ways to reach the public and create opportunities for artists' works to be seen and purchased so that artists' careers are sustained. This will also help sustain us as an arts institution in the Jersey City area.

Our mission

A catalyst for the arts in the NJ/NY metropolitan
area, Victory Hall Inc. provides a space where artists
and the public can share, interact and enjoy new
artistic experiences. Through our gallery exhibitions
and community programs, we welcome, support,
nurture and help advance the careers of emerging
and established artists, so they can contribute to the
creative life of our community.

What we do

Drawing Rooms is a nonprofit art space in the Topps Building on the Mana Campus in the Journal Square neighborhood in Jersey City. We recently moved from a former convent in Downtown Jersey City where we were for 5 years. We show two and three-dimensional works by emerging and mid-career artists in NJ and the NY metropolitan area. We provide a place where artists can gather, connect and advance their careers. Our innovative and exciting exhibitions, public programs and publications enrich the lives of our community through an appreciation of and involvement with contemporary art.

Drawing Rooms is operated by Victory Hall Inc. a 501c3 nonprofit organization producing exhibitions, programs and public art projects in the NJ/NY area since 2001. Other Victory Hall Inc. programs include Rainbow Thursdays Artists (art classes for developmentally disabled adults), Victory Hall Press and The Art Project, exhibition development for Art House, The Oakman and Hamilton House.

WHO WE ARE
We are a nonprofit arts organization in operation consistently for more than 17 years run by two artists, James Pustorino and Anne Trauben.
