Brochure Graphic Design
Brochure Graphic Design
Project details
What we need
- Print-ready designed brochure template provided in a high-resolution format (jpeg, pdf, etc.)
- Collateral, to be used in conjunction with the Brochure Writing project, for new marketing materials
- Accurate, print-ready specifications
- Note: This project does not include printing
Additional details
We have a PDF of a promotional piece created by our national office that is offered only in English. We have Spanish-speaking staff so are able to translate content, but we aren't skilled enough to turn out a Spanish version that looks like the English version. For continuity, we'd like the Spanish promo graphics to mirror English.
What we have in place
- We currently have a PDF of exactly what we want created, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have translators to create Spanish-language content, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to provide direct program services to more girls in undeserved communities in LA.
Approximately 44% of our families are Spanish-speaking. While the girls on our program are most often bi-lingual, their parents are not as comfortable with materials printed in English. In service to the largest population we serve, we strive to have materials in English and Spanish (at least). Having our promotional materials in both languages will help us better communicate with our Spanish speaking parents.
Project plan
Our mission
Girls on the Run of Los Angeles County's (GOTRLA) mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident through running activities and an interactive after-school curriculum. The program enhances the abilities of adolescent girls, ages 8 to 14, to navigate life experiences and to pursue a lifetime of healthy living, self-respect, values-based choices and leadership. Through an innovative social-emotional learning curriculum that creatively integrates running, GOTRLA is helping pre- and early teens tap their potential and positively influence their communities.
What we do
GOTRLA provides safe, after-school mentoring for 8- to 14-year-old girls to learn skills and habits that support physical, social and emotional growth. Over 14 years, this unique, nationally developed and tested curriculum has been thoughtfully adapted to meet the needs of Los Angeles County; serving girls, families and volunteers from diverse communities with an emphasis on economically disadvantaged areas. For adults seeking the benefits of community involvement, the program also provides in-depth training and hands-on volunteer opportunities that engage adults to impact their neighborhoods.
Girls on the Run is the only national physical-activity based positive youth development program for girls with compelling evidence of program impact. It is our research-based curriculum, trained coaches and a commitment to serve all girls that sets us apart as an exemplar PA-PYD program.
