Additional details

Our program works with undocumented unaccompanied minors who are seeking asylum in this country. We are holding a soccer tournament fundraiser where we invite organizations & companies to join and play with our UUMs. There will be a total of 16 teams made up of 7 players each and they will be playing 15 minute games until we get a winner. Event will take place June 15 or 22nd. During the event we provide food, shirt and shorts to UUMs,& trophies.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a spreadsheet of last years event tasks/timeline, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have event marketing materials from last year, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to create more outings and workshops for our unaccompanied minors during the year.

If this event stays organized from start to finish, it will allow us to execute a successful event and raise thousands of dollars to provide free legal services to unaccompanied minors seeking asylum. We will be able to foresee obstacle and tackle them before hand, giving us more time to enjoy the event and talk to potential donors.

Our mission

We assist clients in achieving not just legal status and economic self-sufficiency, but in becoming fully active participants in the social and civic life of our communities.

Our Immigration Service program exists to respond to the needs of immigrants seeking legal immigration help and support services. Our agency helps families that have been separated by the migration experience to reunify through family visa petitions, helps legal residents gain citizenship, assists undocumented battered immigrant women and children obtain legal status, and provides advice and counsel on immigration legal matters.

In addition to providing legal services, we also conduct workshops and educational seminars throughout the community and legal training for attorneys, paralegals, and others who serve the foreign-born community.
