What we need
- Detailed evaluation of a particular program, measured outcomes, and its impact on Organizational goals
- Recommendations for areas of improvement in program delivery including allocation of resources
Additional details
We are looking for support to assess the effectiveness of our LEAP Program as it wraps up a first year of a service contract at a school site.
We have several tools that are in draft mode and need to align tools to a process that completes on time for overall organization evaluation in mid-June 2019
What we have in place
- We currently have clear program outcomes and tools drafted, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have over three years of evaluation reports with outcomes, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,828 , allowing us to dedicate staff time to the leadership development of 30 parents at our partner school sites.
This project will help our organization assess how our program delivery can improve short and long term.

Bay Area Parent Leadership Action Network (PLAN) is an Oakland based organization that develops the leadership and builds the power of parents to transform schools so that all students achieve their student succes
What we do
We train parents and families to believe that their voices matter, while we develop their skills and knowledge that will strengthen their capacity to advocate for their children. We build strong school-based partnerships among families, teachers, staff and principals using transformative family engagement practices that transform schools. We organize a network of parents from different cultures who support each other, create a shared analysis of institutional racism's impact on students of color, and an understanding of the need for systemic change. We develop parent leaders who build a membership and support base of families, teachers, staff, and principals to organize campaigns that promote change- in values, practices, system design and resources.
