What we need
  • Up to 5 new reports in an Organization’s instance of Salesforce
  • Training on how to interpret and make basic updates to reports
Additional details

We have several metrics we want to track, mostly related to fundraising, but I'm having trouble customizing the basic reports to get the data we want.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a list of metrics we want to track, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have time, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,762 , allowing us to provide more meals and showers to our guests

We have adopted a Strategic Plan and analyzing these metrics will enable us to know if we are on track or need to make adjustments in our operation.

Prep: Alignment on Salesforce Setup & Reporting Goals
  • Volunteer Manager introduces the Professional to the Organization’s Salesforce setup and provides them with a detailed description of reporting needs and use cases
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional align on feasibility of what kinds of reports can be set up in Salesforce to meet these needs
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with admin-level access to the Organization’s Salesforce instance

Milestone 1: Draft Report Creation
  • Professional prepares initial drafts of reports in the Organization’s Salesforce instance
  • Professional presents reports to the Volunteer Manager and receives & implements any feedback (up to two rounds)

Milestone 2: Report Finalization & Training
  • Professional presents final versions of reports and trains Volunteer Manager and any other relevant staff on how to read and interpret them
  • Professional provides training on how to make simple changes to reports (e.g. inserting date filters)
  • Professional provides training on the overall functionality of Salesforce reports
  • Professional is available for up to two weeks to answer any questions about reports

Our mission

As community leaders, provide healthy meals, hot showers, linkages to resources, and advocacy for people in need in our community in a dignified and welcoming environment.

What we do

We provide a free hot, nutritious breakfast on Wednesdays and Saturdays and a light breakfast - coffee and bagels on Mondays. We also offer use of onsite, handicap-accessible showers and laundry services on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at times that overlap with our meal program. We provide these programs and services in Downtown Mountain View, near public transporation.
