Impact statement
This project will save us $3,486 , allowing us to attend a year's worth of Forest Collaborative meetings, advocating for old growth trees; native, threatened, and endangered species; and clean waters in our public lands.

Project Details

What We Need
  • Setup of Google AdWords ads
  • Training for staff on how to monitor performance and update Google AdWords ads going forward
  • Optional: Set up integration between Google AdWords and Google Analytics
What We Have In Place
  • We currently have google analytics and are eligible for Google Ad Grant awards, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have staff who has been working on the website and keywords, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help

We want our organization to appear on the first page of results when searching "hells canyon," so that people searching for our beautiful mission area see right away the importance of protecting this place through our grassroots conservation advocacy. We haven't used Google Adwords and the grants they provide for non-profits yet, but this seems like a good way to get on the first page.

  • Volunteer Manager and Professional choose landing pages for each ad group

About The Org

Our Mission

Our mission is to connect, protect, and restore the wild lands, waters, native species and habitats of the Greater Hells Canyon Region, ensuring a legacy of healthy ecosystems for future generations.

What We Do

Greater Hells Canyon Council is a grassroots conservation organization founded in 1967 (as Hells Canyon Preservation Council) to stop Hells Canyon and the Snake River from being dammed. Not only did we stop the dam, we created the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area. Our work now focuses on public lands management in the entire Greater Hells Canyon Region. We cover such diverse issues as logging, grazing, recreation, mining, species protection, wildlife connectivity, and more.
