Impact statement
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to create a nest egg to provide this same programming at our new campus that is opening next fall

Project Details

What We Need
  • Well-written and compelling copy for marketing or communication materials; examples include a brochure, one-pager/fact sheet, or fundraising/promotional materials
  • Messaging that is consistent with brand identity, public relations strategy and communications objectives
Additional Details

We are creating a very direct poster showing that our org is responsible for the art show at the school- essentially without donations from 'parents like you" we would not have this art show. The other piece is a letter that will go home with the artwork- much more detailed about our org, with some pictures etc

What We Have In Place
  • We currently have logo, an example from last year, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have anything you need to get an idea of what we do and, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help

We are in constant need of raising parent participation in our donations- we need a reminder via poster that the art in our schools is thanks to the generosity of the parents etc - and without it there would be no art. We can convey this in the letter more elaborately as well as touting the other buckets we are funding at the schools.

Project Plan

Milestone 1: Information Gathering

Milestone 3: Finalize Copy

About The Org

Our Mission

The Mountain View Educational Foundation works collaboratively with the community to raise funds for essential programs with a goal of ensuring a well-rounded education for all Mountain View Whisman School District students.

What We Do

Our annual goal is to raise $750K to fund art, music, science, athletics in our public K-8 schools. The bulk of our funding comes from district parents, but we do have corporate donations as well. Our district serves over 5000 children, with over 35% of the children coming from socio-economically disadvantaged homes. Over 30% of our students receive free and reduced lunch. We bring this vital programming to every child at every school.
