Facilitated Strategy Session
Facilitated Strategy Session
Project details
What we need
- Expert third party advice on process or managerial changes, geographic or programmatic expansion, potential pivots, or general strategic planning
- Facilitation of an intensive, one-day strategic planning session with staff and/or Board
- Note: If necessary, a follow-up strategic planning session may be scheduled
What we have in place
- We currently have an engaged board & staff eager to meet & be challenged, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a supportive administration staff to work with you, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,620 , allowing us to put that money towards our outreach programs that support low-income families and students.
We are preparing for a strategic plan next fall, and in our earliest staff and board work, we think it might be helpful to have a readiness session. We want to make sure that we are looking at how the board and staff are functioning together, and things we might need to consider before beginning.

Testimonials
Robert was a joy to work with. He began by meeting and talking with us so that he would get a strong sense of the organization, staff and board. He worked with the ED to discuss a detailed session plan he came up with based on those meetings. During our session, he was very good at listening, prodding, and adapting his process to what was happening. Board and staff members were very complimentary of him and his approach and we were all amazed at how much we were able to accomplish in one meeting.
Our strategy workshop was a success. The team was very welcoming of my participated and they appreciated my contribution.
