Public Relations Strategy
Public Relations Strategy
Project details
What we need
- A Public Relations (PR) strategy rooted in the Organization's public relations goals
- Identification of the audiences Organization should be addressing and the media outlets they should target to reach stated audiences
- A press list created based on Organization's target media outlets
- Recommendations on the best tactics to build relationships with Organization's target media outlets
Additional details
We would like to create a strategy that combines Public Relations Strategies along with a Resource Development Plan.
What we have in place
- We currently have an agency wide strategic plan to mirror strategies from, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have our old PR consultants strategic plans, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,343 , allowing us to provide more comprehensive services, reducing client barriers to energy asssitance, early childhood services, and employment. Our programming is led by client and community input and needs.
We are known community-wide for providing human services, yet media and funders often do not know who we are as a community action agency. Yearly, we provide services to 20,000 people with Head Start, energy services, workforce development, and senior advocacy. Our goal: create a brand where everyone knows what OLHSA does and wants to become a neighborhood champion. Simultaneously we need to create non-restricted fundraising strategies to provide more comprehensive services for our clients.
