  • Note: This project does not include on-site event coordination or support on the day of the event. Related projects that may be completed in parallel are the Event Vendor Selection project, the Event Publicity Plan project, and the Event Budget Plan project
What we have in place
  • We currently have An active board who have planned events in the past, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have A dedicated staff person and precious event insight, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to The cost savings as well as the revenue and contacts generates from a well planned event will allow us to fund an additional part time employee increasing our organizational capacity.

We have had 4 successful annual events in the past 4 years but are stuck with the same outcome. We need a new plan to help us better showcase what we do and not be tied to a specific annual event that is predictable now. Although we are seeing new stakeholders at the event the attendance has been dwindling and we feel that the venue and theme has run its course (annual BBQ Fundraiser)

Our mission

The mission of Arts For Kids, Inc. (AFK) is to contribute to the overall success of each individual through meaningful learning opportunities in the arts regardless of age, economic status, and developmental and/or physical disabilities. AFK believes that the arts play a vital role in our communities' social, emotional, physical, and mental development and was created to address these fundamental needs. AFK provides arts-in-education based artist residency programs, performance assemblies, and parent and teacher development training workshops that assist the integration of the arts into standard-based classroom curriculum as well as engage families and communities.
