Website Construction (CMS-Based)
Website Construction (CMS-Based)
Project details
What we need
- Development of a new website using a Content Management System (CMS)
- Training to ensure Organization's staff members can update content and manage the site post-launch
- Note: This project is for a website built with a Content Management System (CMS), such as Wordpress, Squarespace, Joomla, Drupal, or Weebly . A CMS-based website can be maintained and updated easily (no coding required!)
Additional details
We are in the process of re-launching an Initiative (has been in existence for 10 years) that is also moving from United Way to a new home at a University. As part of this process we have done whole re-branding exercise (messaging/logo/ new marketing materials etc..) and are now ready to create our new web-site!
What we have in place
- We currently have a dedicated marketing director focused on this project, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a desire to move forward quickly and efficiently, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $101,242 , allowing us to provide more support to more schools which will help the schools be places where all want to be and are places where all feel respected, inspired, safe and positive.
Having a strong external presence is critically important for our work with schools. This will be the first time we will have our own web-site (have been housed on other organizations' web-site for many years). The web-site will be the primary way schools across the state, country and internationally will find us and learn about the resources and supports we have available. Without a web-site we just aren't relevant not to mention top secret!
Project plan
Our mission
United Way of Northern New Jersey is a thriving regional entity serving the communities of its founding members. With a renewed purpose, all of our work to build stronger northern New Jersey communities is focused on improving life for ALICE - our neighbors who are Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed. These nearly 890,000 New Jersey households - and a quarter of households in our region - are working, but are still unable to afford the basic necessities of housing, food, child care, health care, and transportation.
When ALICE suffers and is forced to make difficult choices, we all face serious consequences. United Way is working to shine a light on this population that is so critical to the stability of our communities. We are looking beyond temporary fixes to find solutions that result in long-term, sustainable change for all individuals and families. Our focus on three areas - Education, Income, and Health - helps ALICE at three key points - now, in the near term, and with an eye to a better and more stable future.
