What we need

Additional details
We need to know if resources exist that can help us access our client's knowledge/ability to use a computer/technology. Also, is there curriculum available that would help us educate our clients who need to learn basic computer skills?
What we have in place
- We currently have some dedicated volunteers onsite who have started research, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a helpful staff, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,324 , allowing us to serve more meals and provide more educational resources to the very low income families of the greater Mercer County, NJ area.
TASK aims to help our patrons toward self-sufficiency and improve quality of life. If we can improve our computer education program, we will give our patrons more opportunities to obtain better jobs and also improve quality of life by teaching people how to take advantage of technology that is available to them.

Our mission
The Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK) feeds those who are hungry in the Trenton area and offers programs to encourage self-sufficiency and improve the quality of life of its patrons.
TASK is a private, non-sectarian, charitable organization that depends almost entirely on the help of dedicated volunteers and generous financial support from individuals, churches, local businesses and community organizations.
What we do
TASK provides more than 5,000 free meals per week to people in need in the Trenton area. We direct our activities toward helping patrons achieve healthier lifestyles, increased self-esteem, and self-sufficiency. To this end, TASK and agencies using our facility provide a wide array of social, community, and health services including an Adult Education Program, Arts Programs, Case Management, Computer Lab, Hygiene Kit Distribution, Mail/Phone/Fax services.
