Project details

What we need
  • An easily understood visual aid that communicates complex information
  • A high-resolution version of the Infographic in the Organization’s preferred format
Additional details

We need to update our current infographic, to make it more compelling both visually and content-wise. We have content, testimonials, statistics, logo and need help turning this information into a easily understood visual aid that we can share with current and prospective donors, volunteers, supporters and other stakeholders to aid in fundraising and volunteer recruitment.

What we have in place
  • We currently have logo, statistics, testimonials, existing infographic, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have photos of our program in action; tagline, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to put this money toward program activities designed to help struggling underserved K-3 students succeed through reading.

We hope this project will help primarily with fundraising, to attract and retain donors, and also aid in volunteer recruitment.

Our mission

Inspired by Jewish values of social justice, the Jewish Coalition for Literacy is dedicated to eliminating childhood illiteracy by m mobilizing reading tutors, engaging parents,, and expanding home libraries to help under-served public school children throughout the Bay Area.

We envision a society where all children can read, and regardless of family circumstances, are inspired to reach their full potential.

What we do

We train and match volunteer literacy tutors with struggling K-3 students at underserved public schools throughout the Bay Area to to ensure that all kids can read by the end third grade and are inspired to succeed. To support our literacy goals, we conduct parent education workshops to encourage reading at home, and distribute thousands of high quality children's books each year to students who have few, if any, books of their own.
