Project details

What we need
  • Customized Excel Training session(s) for up to 5 people over the course of 1-2 days
  • Sessions may be broken up into Beginner, Intermediate, and/or Advanced
  • Sample topics may include: formulas, commonly used functions, autofill, sorting and filtering, freezing, hiding, and grouping, formatting tips, keyboard shortcuts, pivot tables, charting and graphing, print readiness, collaborative work issues, and overall best practices
Additional details

We're looking to expand our capacity to analyze data and make our reporting more efficient. With Excel training, we will be able to more easily extract and present data to inform our work.

Some areas we would like some excel training:

-Advanced Excel Training - Formula writing, graph/chart construction and usage, etc.

-Macro Construction and Usage

-Visual Basic Instruction

What we have in place
  • We currently have a staff person who has good excel skills, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have access to our programs that we extract data from, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,174 , allowing us to better organize and present data and be a more effective advocate for the Adirondacks.

We are the largest environmental organization fighting to protect the biggest wilderness area in the northern US. This work will help our team better evaluate our strategy and to make more impact on the issues we're working on.
