What we have in place
  • We currently have a mission vision statement, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have other information, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,248 , allowing us to It will allow us to fund two NAMI NJ connection training's for the peers.

NAMI NJ offers no cost signature educational programs to families/peers affected by mental illness. This programs incur cost to the organization and we need funds to cover this costs. Sharing our mission & vision, peer/family stories with the donors & grantees translate in to funding benefits for providing free educational programs to our families/peers. How much we appreciate their support and encourage them to keep supporting our cause.

  • Professional and Volunteer Manager connect to discuss prep materials, the current vision, and future plans
  • Professional creates an outline for the mission, vision & values and incorporates any feedback from the Volunteer Manager

  • Volunteer Manager provides feedback which the Professional incorporates

Our mission

NAMI New Jersey (NAMI NJ) is a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness. Through education, support, advocacy and public awareness programs NAMI NJ fosters understanding about mental illness, confronts stigma often associated with mental disorders, advocates for public policies that benefit those affected by mental illness, and promotes research into the causes, treatment and recovery of mental health disorders.
