Project details

What we need
  • Description of event concept and programming
  • Recommendations and research on venue, catering, and other vendors needed
  • Timeline for preparation and outline of team roles & responsibilities
  • Recommendations on pre- and post-event communications
  • Detailed day-of-event schedule
  • Note: This project does not include on-site event coordination or support on the day of the event. Related projects that may be completed in parallel are the Event Vendor Selection project, the Event Publicity Plan project, and the Event Budget Plan project
What we have in place
  • We currently have a Kickstarter video and following from previous events, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have access to Patagonia stores/employees for marketing material, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to put more floating gardens filled with native plants on the Chicago River.

We need fundraising and increased awareness on a much larger scale for the Wild Mile, a floating eco-park on the Chicago River, opening Spring 2019.
