Additional details
Our annual gala is March 22, 2019, and we need help with design for our printed program! We have traditionally done a 12-page program (8.5x5.5 booklet size). We can get finalized text to you (though we sometimes do need to add a sponsor name at the last minute) and discuss timelines. This event makes a huge impact at our organization and brings in a significant amount of our income each year. Are you up for the job?
What we have in place
- We currently have past programs, current event branding, and a content outline, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a staff member to lead the charge, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to help more immigrant victims of crime and persecution!
Our annual gala brings in a significant portion of our income each year, and it is our chance to say thank you to our donors and also educate attendees about our mission. The printed program is how we fulfill that promise, but we simply don't have the time, expertise, or software to have our staff do this!
Project plan
Our mission
Georgia Asylum & Immigration Network (GAIN)'s mission is to to provide free immigration legal services to victims of crime and persecution. Our vision is safety, freedom, and opportunity for all.
What we do
Since its inception in 2005, Georgia Asylum & Immigration Network (GAIN) has served Georgia's vulnerable immigrant community with pro bono legal representation.
GAIN attorneys train and mentor volunteer attorneys, screen cases, and offer technical assistance in immigration matters, while taking on a small percentage of our cases, usually with complex needs, through direct representation. Our impact has grown over time as we expanded the Asylum program's successful model of training and mentoring volunteer attorneys to create the Victims of Violence program for victims of human trafficking, domestic violence, sexual assault, and other crimes.
Since 2005, through direct representation and pro bono referrals, GAIN has helped over 6,600 women, men, and children secure immigration status as a result of a prior victimization or fear of persecution.
