This website audit is for Speakout's project SURJ (Showing Up for Racial Justice) located at www.surjbayarea.org
What we have in place
- We have a member, a designer, who is prioritizing this project and readily available to work on it.
This project site (www.surjbayarea.org) is currently hosted on Weebly. We are open to migrating platforms to a more capable CMS like Wordpress.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,762 , allowing us to allocate more resources to our POC-led partner organizations leading the movement for racial justice.
The mission of SURJ is to build a movement of white people to act in support of racial justice by following the guidance of our POC-led partner organizations leading this work.
Over the past year our website traffic and membership have been fairly static.
This audit will help us grow the movement for racial justice.

Our mission
SpeakOut - The Institute for Democratic Education and Culture is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of education, racial and social justice, cultural literacy, leadership development and activism.
Our network of speakers, artists, and strategic partners provide experiential learning opportunities through lectures, workshops, film screenings, performances and curriculum development.
SpeakOut works with colleges, universities, schools, organizations, government agencies and the private sector, promoting critical analysis, creativity and innovative strategies for 21st century problem solving.
What we do
We are the nation's only non-profit speakers agency, providing educational and cultural speakers, resources, and programs nationally.
