Project details

What we need
  • A list of potential foundations to target for grant applications
Additional details

PRC has a project to empower citizens to fight litter in Philadelphia. Over the years, we've struggled to find foundation support to address litter. We could use help identifying foundations who fund litter prevention programming.

What we have in place
  • We currently have an annual report for 2018 and other metrics for this year, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have raw data for this year, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $8,908 , allowing us to provide supplies to neighbors willing to claim and clean their blocks, provide litter awareness programs to community groups

One of PRC's founders created the Litterbug character, with the tagline "Don't be a Litterbug." Litter prevention and scenic beauty are at the core of PRC's mission and goals. We've struggled to find funding to support litter prevention, education on litter awareness, research on behavior or conditions that contribute to litter, best practices to prevent litter.

Testimonials

(No testimonial has been submitted by Winnie)
Had the pleasure of working with Winnie in supporting the organizational's goal of finding new sources of funding. Her clear strategy helped me focus on the most impactful sources and opportunities. I was particularly impressed by Winnie's go getter ability to quickly reach out to new non-profit funding companies based on the initial research. I would highly recommend volunteering with Winnie, she professional, passionate about their mission, and blast to work with!
