Project details

What we need
  • Consultation regarding the Organization's current branding and desired branding objectives
  • Visual branding guidelines / style guide that include specific colors, fonts, and other graphic design elements to use in print and digital communications materials
  • High-resolution logo delivered electronically (in formats for digital and print use)
Additional details

Need logo for a new initiative, the Hawaii Hunger Action Network. Prefer clean look, something that conveys the ACTION piece.

Prefer graphics that are integrated into the letters of the name (rather than off to the side or on top)

Bright colors: orange, green, purple, or blue.

What we have in place
  • We have a mission statement and some additional strategy framing materials that we can share. These have been developed collaboratively with our network leaders.

Happy to share sample logos that we like to help you get stared, and any other materials you need!
How this will help
This project will save us $1,187 , allowing us to build ground strategy to amplify the benefits of school meals, shift narratives about senior nutrition, and build channels to funnel federal funds into local communities to help them build resilience.

The Hawaii Hunger Action Network is a brand new initiative that aims to ensure all Hawaii residents have enough food to lead healthy, dignified, productive lives. Our strategies will rely heavily on communications materials aimed at shifting narratives around hunger and food security, so it is important that we have a solid brand identity to tie our work together.

Our mission

Hawai'i Appleseed is working to build a more socially just Hawai'i, where everyone has genuine opportunities to achieve economic security and fulfill their potential. We change systems that perpetuate inequality and injustice through policy development, coalition building, and advocacy.

What we do

At Hawai'i Appleseed, we carry out our mission by engaging in:

- Advocacy at state and local departments to ensure that the policies, laws, and practices intended to address the problems of those living in poverty are well designed and implemented fairly and effectively

- Policy reports that educate and inform key stakeholders of the issues facing the communities we represent and provide ingenious, high-quality solutions to the problems that we work on

- Workshops and other educative measures to inform low income individuals and groups of their rights and how to exercise them

- Grassroots coalition-building with other community groups who share a common interest in alleviating poverty in Hawai'i, and supporting the work of public interest advocates in Hawai'i through collaborative partnerships
