Event Branding & Marketing Materials
Impact statement
This project will save us $4,586 , allowing us to rehabilitate more homes and or counsel more first time homebuyers. Both will help to improve the over-all economy in our city/state.

Project Details

What We Need
  • A branded theme for a specific event based on the Organization's existing visual brand identity
  • Materials for the event including, but not limited to, invitations, email designs, graphics for social media, digital flyers, presentation design, and signage
  • Assets and branding guidelines for use in other materials (if applicable)
  • Note: This project does not include the production or printing of physical materials
Additional Details

For the last 2 years, we have hosted an annual dinner fundraiser. Going into year 3, we are looking for a more cohesive marketing packet to better share our story and garner interest for attendance.

The event is geared around the importance of affordable housing and financial literacy. We ask architects to submit a 2-family home design and model. These models are showcased at this dinner. One is chosen as the "dream home" and will come to life (in the next year) in a designated plot in town.

What We Have In Place
  • We currently have a venue, date and committee helping to coordinate this event, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have the marketing materials from the last 2 years, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help

We hope this project will save us time in creating the event publications. Also, with a cohesive event brand we will see a larger interest. Inevitably, helping us raise more unrestricted dollars to rehabilitate more affordable homes.

Project Plan

Prep: Communicating Inputs & Brainstorming
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with brand assets (logos, taglines, etc…), visual brand guidelines and any existing assets or inspiration related to the event
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager meet to discuss goals of the event, the audience being targeted and any other relevant information
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager brainstorm branding theme and the scope of materials needed for the event
  • Note: If additional help is needed for a large set of materials, consider posting additional design projects to involve more professionals
Milestone 1: Finalize Branding Theme
  • Professional develops three branded themes to share with the Organization along with some example design approaches to gain alignment with the Volunteer Manager
  • Volunteer Manager decides on a theme and provides feedback on design direction
Milestone 2: Preliminary Materials Design and Feedback
  • Professional creates initial designs and sends to Organization for up to 2 rounds of review and feedback for each material
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with detailed feedback
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with all final assets, copy and direction for final designs
Milestone 3: Final Design
  • Professional finalizes designs, prepares the files, exports them in the required formats and delivers them to the Organization
  • Professional advises on best practices for each element (ex: optimized versions of designs for printed materials vs. social media graphics)
