AAACC Celebrates Kwanzaa
Wednesday, December 26, 2018
6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Hall of Culture - 3rd Floor
What we have in place
- We currently have details for the planned activities, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have strong sense of the kind of content we would like to capture at the event, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,998 , allowing us to host and feed more families at the actual event and subsidize the cost of staffing this event.
Kwanzaa is an African American and Pan-African holiday which celebrates family, community and culture. Honoring the first day of Kwanzaa with a celebration of Unity / Umoja by playing games, creating with arts and crafts, and enjoying a tasty African inspired meal has become a treasured tradition of AAACC and one that fosters unity in the Western Addition community. We believe it is vital to keep this tradition going in response to the challenges this community faces.
