Project details
What we need
- A photographer who will attend the Organization's event to take photos
- A set of professionally edited, high-resolution images delivered in a digital format suitable for web or print use
- Note: The photographer needs to be available in the same geographical location as the Organization or be willing to travel at own expense
Additional details
The 18th Annual Holiday Fair celebration will take place on Saturday, December 15th from 10 am to 2 pm at AAACC, located at 762 Fulton Street in San Francisco.
What we have in place
- We currently have planned events that will take place at the Holiday Fair, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a solid idea of the kinds of content that would be great to capture, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,998 , allowing us to direct more resources to making this event a success, from offering a larger variety of toys for more kids to reducing the cost of food, among other expenses.
The Holiday Fair, envisioned 18 years ago by Mayor London Breed,
was created to celebrate and honor our children, youth, and their families.
Each year the African American Art & Culture Complex hosts this spectacular event to bring Christmas to low-income families and at-risk youth
in need in the Western Addition neighborhood.
This FREE event features games, face painting, arts & crafts,
pictures with Black Santa, whom we lovingly call Kente Klaus,
free food, performances, and a toy give away!
Donors will be acknowledged in our printed materials,
website, and/or social media.
