Grant Template
Project details
What we need
- Grant Template outlining the Organization’s mission, strategic plan, activities and budget
- Tips and suggestions on customizing Grant Template for specific grants
Additional details
Over the past 2 years we have updated our organization description and programming. We have a grant kits from 2013 that need to be refreshed and aligned with these updated. The existing grant kit does not include our new strategic direction or programming. We would also like to strengthen the financial and sustainability sections of our applications. We are moving from 100% contributed revenue to more of an earned revenue model with more diverse funding streams however none of that is explained in our current grant applications.
What we have in place
- We currently have a grant kit and program descriptions, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have past grant applications and marketing materials, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,140 , allowing us to offer (4) Artful Seeds, our immersive art-making workshop, with 4 agencies.
Last year we piloted a new program, Artful Seeds successfully with 3 of our partner agencies. This year we will advance Artful Seeds, our immersive art-making workshop, with 12+ agencies. In order to effectively launch and scale this program we need to raise $30,000 of funding.

Our mission
The Art Connection is the only non-profit in the Boston metro area that enriches and empowers underserved communities by providing access to original works of visual art.
What we do
We facilitate the choice of art, from artists and collectors, by those who may not have the opportunity to experience the transformative possibilities of art in their lives. Since our inception in 1995, this unique gifting program has identified and catalogued original works of art donated by generous individuals and has supported local social service agencies in the selection of pieces that are meaningful to them.
Within these healing environments, the original works of art provide welcome opportunities for reflection, inspiration, comfort, and hope. Organizations find that original artwork enlivens spaces and connects them to their constituents in profound ways. The artists are delighted to give back to their community, to exhibit their work in places that attract a large number of visitors. Artists feel good knowing that their work has an impact in places where people go to access critical services. Ours is an enriching creative collaboration on all counts.
