What we need
  • A concise, well-articulated letter (not exceeding two pages) to request funds from individual donors

This letter is a multi-purpose letter: We want to communicate to our supporters / donors some very positive news and developments about the organization that didn't receive any publicity in the newspaper (for a few reasons), inform folks that we made a decision to not host (for a variety of reasons - some of which we want to communicate and other factors not necessary to communicate) our annual signature fundraiser this year normally held in September/October.. however, we still are very much in need of their support to help us continue to realize our organization mission.

What we have in place
  • We currently have previous appeal letters to use as a guide, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have been compiling our major news so that it can be developed into a storytelling piece, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,140 , allowing us to This project will save us a minimum of $1240, allowing limited resources to go towards our programs and direct services and also help us kick off our storytelling project supporting us in many ways.

We have some very exciting and amazing news to present to our supporters. This news would normally possibly be publicized in the newspaper. At the time, we were asked to not issue a press releases or publicize. However, now should finally do the time for storytelling to let out the good news and toot our horn so to speak. Storytelling is a vital way for us to inform the community our successes and still convey our need for ongoing and future support to ensure that we minimize and reduce homelessness among those with HIV/AIDS. Without storytelling, we present our needs.
