Project details

What we need
  • A photographer who will attend the Organization's event to take photos
  • A set of professionally edited, high-resolution images delivered in a digital format suitable for web or print use
  • Note: The photographer needs to be available in the same geographical location as the Organization or be willing to travel at own expense
What we have in place
  • We have a program/itinerary for the College Fair and a layout of where the tables for College representatives and various workshops will be. Additionally, we will have volunteers and Project 440 staff floating around the event in the case you need assistance with anything.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,998 , allowing us to ...offer this incredible event to the Philadelphia community free of charge year after year. We believe the college admissions process should not be a barrier for communities with fewer resources.

On November 12, Project 440 will host its 2nd annual College Fair for Musicians in partnership with the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. We are expecting to bring together around three-hundred students from the greater Philadelphia region to directly connect with thirty-six different colleges and universities from around the country. Additionally, attendees will have access to a full day of free workshops on college admissions topics. Our goal with this event is to prepare high school students for the college application process and to make information about colleges and universities easily accessible to Philadelphia students and their families.

Our mission

Project 440 engages, educates and inspires young musicians, providing them with the career and life skills they need to develop into tomorrow's civic-minded, entrepreneurial leaders.

What we do

Project 440 envisions a world where, through music, every young person is provided with the opportunity and tools for individual growth and community impact. We work to enact this vision through offering after-school programs open to any high-school student in the School District of Philadelphia that use music as a lens to teach college readiness, entrepreneurship and leadership.

Testimonials

Rick was wonderful to work with. He was professional and did a wonderful job capturing the essence of our event, providing us with many photos that we will be able to use for promotional materials in the future. We were given digital copies of the photos within 48 hours of the event. I would highly recommend Rick to any organization looking for an event photographer.
