This project will save us $1,240 , allowing us to bring who we are to the funders and provide this program to the youth and children in the tenderlion.

What We Need

  • A concise, well-articulated letter (not exceeding two pages) to request funds from individual donors

How This Will Help

As a start up, this letter is VITAL to the growth of Weekend Adventures. We want to present a clear and compelling letter to potential donors.

What We Have In Place

We currently have communication strategy which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have the executive director available and the ability to provide any other information you need.

  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss the objectives of the project and key audiences
Milestone 1: Document Creation
  • Professional writes copy aligned with Volunteer Manager's style, tone, clarity, and length
Milestone 2: Wrap-up
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss any small edits; Professional submits final version

  • Excellent writing skills
  • Ability to synthesize information and effectively communicate the main points in a compelling way
Prerequisites for Organization
  • Clarity on your fundraising goals
  • Clear description of your Organization and mission, what you do, and why you need the funds now
  • Marketing materials about your Organization that you can share

Our Mission

Mission Statement: Is to get children and youth out of the city and into arts, science and nature. We will do this by leading weekend trips where children/youth can explore the world around them and beyond.

What We Do

We lead weekend outings for youth and children. Our goal is to foster a love for nature, arts and science that could be missed due to lack of opportunity.
