Impact statement
This project will save us $6,772 , allowing us to use these funds to continue enriching our current programs for our students. We are a very small nonprofit org. with limited funds & employees. We don't have a designated employee to work on this.

Project Details

What We Need
  • Feedback on the current website’s layout, user functionality, visual design, content, and other key features
  • Clear articulation of the Organization’s goals for the website
  • Recommendations for improvements to help achieve the Organization’s desired goals
What We Have In Place
  • We currently have a basic website through Weebly with a lot of content, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an Admin Coord who updates the website, a Fb page w/ 227 likes, Twitter page w/82 follower, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help

About The Org

Our Mission

Village Community Resource Center (VCRC) is a community-based organization which serves struggling families in East Contra Costa County. The mission of VCRC is to provide information, support, and coordination of resources to empower and improve the quality of life of disadvantaged children and their families in a culturally sensitive environment. At VCRC we believe that ALL children deserve an equal opportunity to succeed in school, work, and life. Therefore, we support and encourage children’s social-emotional and academic development through educational programs while helping families actively engage in their children’s education.

What We Do

Village Community Resource Center (VCRC) has become a leader in the community as a family resource center that offers a variety of essential services for underprivileged children and their families, such as social, health, educational and recreational programs. VCRC offers a variety of supportive services and activities for
children, youth, and families in a safe and nurturing environment.
