Greensgrow engages our neighborhoods in cultivating social entrepreneurship, urban agriculture, and community greening.
What we do
Built in 1997 on the site of a former galvanizing steel plant, Greensgrow has become one of the nation's leading models for creating economic growth through urban agriculture. We at Greensgrow believe in the power of food, flowers, and social entrepreneurship to unite diverse communities and provide lasting positive impact for our neighborhoods. Our community-based garden centers, fresh food access programs, kitchen incubator, and educational offerings employ 40 people sustainably, and return more than $2 million to the local economy.
