- We currently have proposal examples, detailed reports for our state funding., which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have independent financial reviews, letters of support, grant partnerships statewide., and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,140 , allowing us to Leverage our $7000 annual state grant award by allocating the funds to other areas such as marketing, artist training, office rent and part time employee payroll.
A clear concise template will help up to grow by leveraging our State Arts Council General Operating grant, which was very competitive to receive. It has been challenging to win additional awards from foundations and corporations due to the competitive nature and limited resources the not-for-profit sector compete for. We feel that a better template will enable our proposals to be more competitive and transfer to more funding from more sources, diversifying our funding streams and helping us grow.

Our mission
The mission of Arts For Kids, Inc. (AFK) is to contribute to the overall success of each individual through meaningful learning opportunities in the arts regardless of age, economic status, and developmental and/or physical disabilities. AFK believes that the arts play a vital role in our communities' social, emotional, physical, and mental development and was created to address these fundamental needs. AFK provides arts-in-education based artist residency programs, performance assemblies, and parent and teacher development training workshops that assist the integration of the arts into standard-based classroom curriculum as well as engage families and communities.
