What we need
  • An easily understood visual aid that communicates complex information
  • A high-resolution version of the Infographic in the Organization’s preferred format
What we have in place
  • We currently have a list of accomplishments, photos, data, quotes, awards, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have social media accounts, years of newsletter, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,066 , allowing us to We estimate it would cost us around $500 to hire a professional to complete this project. We expect this infographic will create new supporters and donors.

NYEP has been open for 10 years. We'd like to highlight our breadth of accomplishments and experiences during that time, that we can hand out to community members and add to our website for a quick reference for newcomers. This project will help increase donors and raise awareness about the organization.

  • Professional develops three drafted concepts to share with the Organization
  • Volunteer Manager chooses one draft as a primary concept and provides feedback

Our mission

NYEP gives homeless young women (18-24) in the Reno area a chance to reroute their lives through a structured program that provides housing and basic needs, life skills training, opportunities to practice new life skills, and the support and love of a family. A principle-based organization serving women.

NYEP provides its standardized, all-inclusive, housing-based independent living curriculum-called CLP-in our large, 8-bedroom home. We serve at least 15 at-risk, older female youth residents concurrently for one year.

Safe housing, utilities, other basic supports, complex supports, mentoring, parental supports and skills training are provided and/or facilitated by highly skilled CLP staff, who monitor and record resident progress to help our youth become accountable, established young adults. NYEP's CLP empowers young people to gain self-confidence, personal independence and personal growth while learning to meet their obligations and fulfill their responsibilities.
