What we have in place
- We have been operating our CTK social enterprise businesses in Boulder, CO for approximately 3 years, and our CEO, COO, and Director of Finance are leading a modeling/analysis exercise to provide better visibility into where and how we should dedicate our resources. We are treating this effort as a priority, as we recognize its importance to the clients we serve, from both a training perspective and an organizational funding perspective.
How this will help
This project will save us $10,948 , allowing us to Have an even greater impact on the lives of our clients and on our wider community, by devoting those funds to solving homelessness one person at a time.
As a crucial component of its award-winning Ready to Work program - which provides paid work housing and support services for homeless men and women re-entering the workforce - Bridge House operates multiple social enterprises including its Community Table Kitchen. CTK provides valuable kitchen training/skills that have enabled numerous program graduates to obtain permanent employment in the food-service industry. This project will enable us to better understand the markets in which CTK operates - including catering, cafes, and wholesale - to accelerate the growth of CTK and significantly increase the funds available to support our organizational mission.
