Photography
Project details
What we need
- A photographer who will work with the Organization over 1-2 days to capture an important event or shoot a series of photographs to tell the Organization's story
- A set of professionally edited, high-resolution images delivered in JPEG or TIFF format suitable for web or print use
- Note: The photographer needs to be available in the same geographical location as the Organization or be willing to travel at own expense
What we have in place
- We currently have an exhibit list, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have photo release forms, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,048 , allowing us to keep our admission prices accessible to all families.
The success of our organization depends on growing our audience and donor base. Without your help, we cannot show what happens at the Museum. Your skills will empower us to share our exhibits and capture special moments at the Museum.

Our mission
The Mission of the KidsPlay Children's Museum is to provide children with an environment that fosters imagination and creativity through interactive exhibits and play that will deepen their appreciation and understanding of the sciences, the arts and the world around them.
What we do
KidsPlay Children's Museum operates over 11,000 sf of interactive, hands-on exhibits where children age 1 to 10 practice pre-academic skills, build curiosity and explore through developmental play. KidsPlay hosted over 38,500 patrons and expanded visitor space by 140% in 2017. KidsPlay is a member of the Torrington School Readiness Council and works strategically with the Torrington Public Schools and other community partners to provide opportunities for informal family learning. The Museum presents learning concepts in ways that are meaningful and accessible to young children and enriches the educational landscape for families from across the socio-economic, cultural, and educational spectrum.
