Website Update
Project details
What we need
- Updates and/or fixes to the Organization’s existing website (e.g., update copy or images, fix bugs, integrate plugins or widgets, customize styles/themes, etc.)
- Training for the Organization's staff on how to update website content and resolve minor issues (if applicable)
Additional details
We are moving to a Wix platform. Some assistance on SEO would be great as well as prior knowledge of working with Wix. Also, an objective eye on what may or not be optimal on the current draft of the Wix site.
What we have in place
- We currently have the Wix platorm built but need expertise to wrap it up, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have the content, pictures and vision of the site, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,762 , allowing us to use our budget for our growing educational and support programs as well as our Scholarship Fund. $6772 is about 22 weeks of tuition for a child on full scholarship.
We are a small non-profit. Looking professional is important but making sure our first goal is living our mission comes first. We have been so busy with a new addition to the building that our website and marketing has taken a back seat. We need to get back in the awareness game.
Project plan
Our mission
The mission of the Elaine Clark Center is to enable children and young adults of all abilities to become confident and contributing citizens of the community through an innovative model of education, therapeutic play and experiential opportunity.
What we do
The organization serves between 70 to 110 children and young adults with special needs. These individuals range in age from 6 weeks to age 25 with a variety of physical, behavioral and cognitive delays or impairments.
The Elaine Clark Center was incorporated as a nonprofit in 1969 in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1976, the organization moved to its current location at 5130 Peachtree Boulevard, Chamblee, Georgia.
In 2009, the Elaine Clark Center and another nonprofit educational center in Atlanta, Heart of Hope Academy, merged into one entity. In 2010, the Board of Directors of ECC embarked on a capital campaign to secure the funds necessary to expand the footprint of the existing structure. The purpose was to have an adequate facility and space to serve older school aged children and young adults as well as have classroom space for the Heart of Hope academy program.
Construction began in late 2016 and was completed in January 2018. With its completion, 21,000 square feet is now available to support the mission of the Elaine Clark Center for the next 50 years.
