Annual Report Writing
Annual Report Writing
Project details
What we need
- Clear and effective copy for an annual report that illustrates the Organization’s successes and plans for growth (e.g., descriptions of programs, allocation of funds, and recognition of donors and volunteers)
- Blueprint of the structure for the annual report, including optimal content, length, and style
Additional details
Creativity. We are looking for a fresh, updated look that incorporates our logo and the colors of our logo. Also, guidance on the theme of the report and the content would be helpful.
What we have in place
- We currently have samples from years past to give an idea of the layout, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have most of the financials and access to the Exec Director for feedback on the project, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $9,148 , allowing us to keep serving our children on Scholarship. This is the equilvalent of about 25 weeks of weekday services or respite. We are a small non-profit but we make a big impact for the families we serve.
Our Annual Report is also an Annual Fundraising request. It needs to be succinct as well as encourage the recipient to donate. We would like to be able to have a version of it to place on our website as well.

Our mission
The mission of the Elaine Clark Center is to enable children and young adults of all abilities to become confident and contributing citizens of the community through an innovative model of education, therapeutic play and experiential opportunity.
What we do
The organization serves between 70 to 110 children and young adults with special needs. These individuals range in age from 6 weeks to age 25 with a variety of physical, behavioral and cognitive delays or impairments.
The Elaine Clark Center was incorporated as a nonprofit in 1969 in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1976, the organization moved to its current location at 5130 Peachtree Boulevard, Chamblee, Georgia.
In 2009, the Elaine Clark Center and another nonprofit educational center in Atlanta, Heart of Hope Academy, merged into one entity. In 2010, the Board of Directors of ECC embarked on a capital campaign to secure the funds necessary to expand the footprint of the existing structure. The purpose was to have an adequate facility and space to serve older school aged children and young adults as well as have classroom space for the Heart of Hope academy program.
Construction began in late 2016 and was completed in January 2018. With its completion, 21,000 square feet is now available to support the mission of the Elaine Clark Center for the next 50 years.
