Project details

What we need
  • A list of potential corporations or foundations to target for a specific partnership or grant opportunity
What we have in place
  • Although we are a relatively young organization, we have spent a considerable amount of time and effort planning, researching, and developing End With Care, launching our resource a little over one year ago.

We have memberships with 2 funding data resources: Grant Station and the Massachusetts Non Profit Network.

Please review our website at www.endwithcare.org
How this will help
This project will save us $4,828 , allowing us to gain the financial support to help sustain and grow our organization.

Our non-profit organization End With Care is a free educational resource directed to individuals, families, and caregivers facing end-of-life challenges.

It is essential that End With Care's resource be free of charge We therefore seek support to continue to provide information and access to resources bridging those in need with those who offer care and support. Funds will be directed:
* To expand and enhance our website
* To connect through community outreach and education
* To build capacity of the statewide community of end of life care providers
* To strengthen our infrastructure
* To develop and engage collaborations

Our mission

End With Care is an educational website resource that provides and promotes public, professional and institutional awareness regarding end-of-life issues. Through information, access to resources and communication, End With Care will contribute to enhancing the quality of life, at the end of life.

What we do

Many individuals and families face end-of-life challenges without access to resources and support. Within Massachusetts, there are services, care providers and support resources available for those facing life-threatening illness or injury, either for themselves or as caregivers for family or friends. Yet sadly, many who might benefit from this information have difficulty locating needed resources or worse are not even aware they exist.

End With Care, collects and present information about end-of-life resources that will assist individuals, their loved ones and caregivers to make more informed decisions about care at a most vulnerable time. Along with valuable end-of-life related topics and content, our central focus is a comprehensive, easy-to-use, interactive directory of end-of-life care and service providers, organizations, and related agencies serving communities throughout Massachusetts.

Our website resource helps those in need to navigate a difficult time, circumvent problems, plan for and locate resources, and make better use of the limited time remaining. We strive to offer a path to a more positive vision and a more dignified passage through the last days of life.

Our goal is to provide a bridge between those in need and those who can provide care and support.

Testimonials

I consider End With Care and myself, very fortunate to have worked with Rebecca on our Strategic Partnerships Research project. Knowledgeable, professional, perceptive, talented. Rebecca simply knows her stuff. In addition to the energy and enthusiasm she brought to the project and every conversation, I’m certain that the work itself will be invaluable to End With Care. I wholeheartedly recommend Rebecca to any in the Catchafire community that may have the opportunity to work with her.
