What we need
- Updates and/or fixes to the Organization’s existing website (e.g., update copy or images, fix bugs, integrate plugins or widgets, customize styles/themes, etc.)
- Training for the Organization's staff on how to update website content and resolve minor issues (if applicable)
What we have in place
- We currently have a working template, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a vision and, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,762 , allowing us to reach more nonprofits boards, who will gain skills tbat help them become more effective leaders of their organizations.
The mission of Governance Matters is to serve nonprofit boards and provide them with the resources and trainings they need to be effective. Our website needs to serve as a place they can go with questions about effective governance and information about our trainings. Updating our website would mean that we can reach out to more nonprofits to visit our site and gain the tools they need to succeed.

Our mission
Governance Matters is a one-stop shop for everything that makes nonprofit boards successful. Governance Matters connects, and provides nonprofits access to, diverse board candidates with a passion to serve, while helping boards make best use of the talent around the table, and preparing new board members to serve as effectively as possible.
