What we need
- A photographer who will attend the Organization's event to take photos
- A set of professionally edited, high-resolution images delivered in a digital format suitable for web or print use
- Note: The photographer needs to be available in the same geographical location as the Organization or be willing to travel at own expense
What we have in place
- We currently have a photos list, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a clear vision for our direction, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,998 , allowing us to Focus our resources directly to the families that we serve.
We are looking for a photographer to capture the fun at our upcoming event, Capes 4 Cal 5K in Seattle, WA. This event has approximately 150 attendees and raises funds and awareness for families impacted by mitochondrial disease. The event will take place at Green Lake Park on Sunday, October 21st from 8:30 am - 1:00 pm. You can learn more about the event at www.give.mitoaction.org/capes4cal5k

Our mission
MitoAction's mission is to improve the quality of life for children, adults, and families living with mitochondrial disease through support, education, outreach, advocacy, and clinical research initiatives.
What we do
MitoAction's goals include: To improve quality of life for adults and children affected by mitochondrial disease.
*To internationally raise awareness about mitochondrial disorders, and their relationship to other diseases.
*To provide specific and practical materials that help patients to manage their symptoms
*To aggregate and connect the international mitochondrial disease community
*To engage pharmaceutical industry working toward therapeutic approaches to mitochondrial disorders.
*To create tools which empower patients and caregivers to be advocates for themselves or their children.
*We strive to offer comprehensive, up-to-date, expert resources, information, and support at no cost to any patient, family, clinician, educator, or member of the community.
*We continue to seek multiple ways to offer information such that the resources are accessible and user-friendly for people of all abilities.
We foster relationships with the scientific, academic, research and business community in order to create sustainable support for the mission of MitoAction.
