Event Photography
Project details
What we need
- A photographer who will attend the Organization's event to take photos
- A set of professionally edited, high-resolution images delivered in a digital format suitable for web or print use
- Note: The photographer needs to be available in the same geographical location as the Organization or be willing to travel at own expense
What we have in place
- We currently have an outline/idea of what we want filmed, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have whatever you need and can answer any questions, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,998 , allowing us to promote our program so we can grow and improve the lives of more people with disabilities.
We are looking for a professional videographer to shoot a 3-4 min promotional video for our website and to be shown at our fundraising events. We can work around your schedule and would like to do this in August or early September. The video will be shot at our facility
Project plan
Our mission
Pal-O-Mine provides a comprehensive therapeutic equine program using horses to facilitate growth, learning and healing. Our population includes children and adults with disabilities, those who have been abused or neglected, the military, and the economically compromised.
What we do
Pal-O-Mine Equestrian began in 1995 as a therapeutic horseback riding program for individuals with disabilities and other vulnerable populations, and has grown to be one of the leading equine therapy centers in the Northeast. We operate a full-time program, serving over 400 individuals weekly, and support 20 program horses on a 10-acre facility on Long Island, New York. In addition to our staff of licensed educators, therapists, riding instructors, speech pathologists, occupational therapists and registered nurses, over 80 volunteers give freely of their time. Our programs include: Adaptive Riding, Equine Assisted Learning (EAL), Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP), Hippotherapy, a Vocational Program, Summer Employment Training and Corporate Training. With the exception of Adaptive Riding, all of the other programs are unmounted and involve activities on the ground with the horses, which provides opportunities for individual and group discovery through experiential learning. Our populations include children and adults with disabilities, at-risk youth, those who have been abused or neglected, the military and the impoverished.
