- Document that articulates in a consistent voice key messages about the Organization’s identity, constituents, mission, and vision
- Creation of taglines and talking points to help the Organization communicate clearly and concisely
- Recommendations on tailoring messaging for common communication channels (e.g., website copy, printed marketing collateral, pitching verbally)

What we have in place
- We currently have a style guide, clear mission statement and language, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a large social media following, great supporters and staff, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,600 , allowing us to feed and clothe the homeless, keep a family safely housed with rental and utility support,.
The Society of St Vincent de Paul of San Mateo County provides a number of different services to those who are in need in our area. This project is so important because many people do not understand our mission and/or do not know all of the services we provide. Many tend to only recognize us by our thrift stores and even then, do not know the other great things we offer to the community! We do have many programs so that can be hard to communicate clearly - "what we do" is a long list of great things. Thank you!

Our mission
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul of San Mateo County (SVdP) provides daily necessities, food & clothing for the homeless and precariously housed. We serve over 100,000 meals at 3 Homeless Help Centers and provide food, clothing and rent assistance to the precariously housed through our Peninsula Family Resource Center. SVdP’s Stores help clothe, feed and house your neighbors in need by providing over $300,000 in clothing and household goods vouchers. Ninety-one cents of every dollar raised by SVdP Stores and fundraising are expended in safety-net services to the poor in San Mateo County.
