What we need
- A photographer who will work with the Organization over 1-2 days to capture an important event or shoot a series of photographs to tell the Organization's story
- A set of professionally edited, high-resolution images delivered in JPEG or TIFF format suitable for web or print use
- Note: The photographer needs to be available in the same geographical location as the Organization or be willing to travel at own expense
What we have in place
- We currently have stories available for you to draw inspiration from, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have filmed stories of personal experiences with shoes, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,048 , allowing us to Hire the crew necessary to continue telling impactful true stories that inspire future generations of Americans.
Attention photographers!! We at Media Projects Inc. are looking for talented artists that can bring our stories to life. The personal stories that make up our films and reflect on our community are ones that need to be told in the most vibrant and engaging way possible, and we could use your help. We're specifically looking for photos that depict women's experiences and relationships with their shoes for our upcoming project "Sole Sisters." Our mission
Since 1978, Media Projects has produced and distributed films that personalize some of the most searing social issues of our time. We also create films that celebrate events and people who indelibly touch our lives.
What we do
Media Projects,Inc., is a non-profit organization that has been producing and distributing documentary films for 40 years. Our films have aired nationwide on PBS and on both commercial and cable television. We distribute these films and videos throughout the United States, Canada and Europe to schools, libraries, museums, churches, social service organizations, youth groups and government agencies. We have won numerous national awards and have been selected for prestigious screenings in the United States and abroad. Several of our films screen daily at museums and at the visitor center of the Women's Rights National Historical Park in Seneca Falls, New York.
