Additional details
It would be nice to receive some feedback on our funding proposal and a tweak or two geared to the foundation or corporation we are requesting funding from. This is a film project, titled SOLE SISTERS, that captures the powerful relationship women have with their shoes.
What we have in place
- We currently have a proposal and budget, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a trailer and website (www.solesistersfilm.com), and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,380 , allowing us to open new doors for funding. If funding is secured, this film will resonate with hundreds of thousands of women around the county.
The success of our organization depends on our ability to secure funding to produce this project. Without your help, we cannot expand our outreach and bring this film to fruition. Your skills will empower us to increase our possibilities for partnerships and funding.

Our mission
Since 1978, Media Projects has produced and distributed films that personalize some of the most searing social issues of our time. We also create films that celebrate events and people who indelibly touch our lives.
What we do
Media Projects,Inc., is a non-profit organization that has been producing and distributing documentary films for 40 years. Our films have aired nationwide on PBS and on both commercial and cable television. We distribute these films and videos throughout the United States, Canada and Europe to schools, libraries, museums, churches, social service organizations, youth groups and government agencies. We have won numerous national awards and have been selected for prestigious screenings in the United States and abroad. Several of our films screen daily at museums and at the visitor center of the Women's Rights National Historical Park in Seneca Falls, New York.
