This project will save us $2,905 , allowing us to focus on our mission of supporting the entire charitable nonprofit community, while also being a great place to work!

What We Need

  • Audit of existing Employee Handbook, or internal communications regarding employment policies
  • Edit or creation of a new Employee Handbook, which may include any of the following: Standards of Conduct, Work Schedules, Leave Policies, Termination Policies, Safety and Security, Anti-Discrimination policies, Compensation and Benefits policies, any Non-Disclosure Agreements or Conflict of Interest statements that may apply, and any other pertinent information

Nice To Have

Help crafting language for diversity, equity, and inclusion that goes beyond just strict anti-discrimination policy.

How This Will Help

Aside from minor tweaks here and there for compliance purposes, our organization's employee handbook hasn't changed in 15 years. We're undertaking a big effort to make the handbook better reflect today's realities, with employees using their own devices, having full-time remote workers, and ensuring our employee handbook reflects our organization's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. We have the broad framework of a handbook, which comes via our outsourced HR provider, but we are looking for someone to bring real-world experience to help us ensure we're not missing anything.

What We Have In Place

We currently have a handbook ready for review which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have staff motivated to bring our policies into the 21st century and the ability to provide any other information you need.
