This project is

In Progress

Matched with:

Rahmad K.

This project will save us $3,607 , allowing us to use the saved amount to instead be able to provide a revolving fund for over 250 farmers for the 2018/2019 season.

What We Need

  • A high-resolution digital version of an illustration that can be used across multiple channels (web, print, and/or merchandising)

Nice To Have

The BIG Idea! Since establishing our Micro Demo Estate we have been humbled by the communities response. We will soon be adding facilities for post harvest needs and to be able to demonstrate more techniques that our communities can benefit from. This all got us thinking our future plans really needed to become our sooner plans! What we would like to develop is a 'visual digital aid' for potential donors and partners to understand how we envisage this GROWTH! We'd love you to wear many hats including architect, artist, designer, visionary and, fall in love with GGEM Farming too!

How This Will Help

GGEM Farming is an organisation based in Malawi and powered by 100s of amazing remotely located farmers. We work with communities that are willing to farm together in order to learn commercial techniques and improve the quality and quantities of their yields. We provide our farmer groups with access to expertise, markets and a revolving fund to boost their first few seasons of production.
It's awesome work. We love what we do. The best part of it, is seeing how quickly people's outlooks can change in just one farming season. Now we need you to illustrate our even bigger plans.

What We Have In Place

We currently have a great idea of what we would like for the visual project which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a team thats ready to answer questions, assist with further research and the ability to provide any other information you need.

Fun Fact

One of the things that is really us is our out of office office culture In the last 3 years our team has had just 6 indoor meetings ( all due to rain). We love being outside, muddy, farming right along our partner communities; luckily we clean up really well!

Our Mission

Mission: Breaking Malawi's poverty cycle through Job creation in Agriculture

What We Do

Our Big Idea: We partner with farmer groups to deliver expertise in commercial farming techniques and quality inputs via a revolving fund. We provide a value addition portal so that farmers can earn the best prices for their produce. We also avail access to information through external GGEM partners who help our farmers to make better financial decisions and life choices.
