What We Need

  • Print-ready brochure template provided in a high-resolution format (jpeg, gif, pdf, etc.)
  • Accurate, print-ready specifications
  • Note: This project does not include printing

How This Will Help

We are looking to create an event flyer for our annual "Back to School Celebration", which will help over 800 economically disadvantaged youth receive backpacks and school supplies for the 2018-2019 school year.

What We Have In Place

We currently have styleguide which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have hero images and information and the ability to provide any other information you need.

Fun Fact

We served 725 kids backpacks and essential needs items last year, which is more students than the enrollment of several local elementary schools in our community!

Project Steps

  • Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
    • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with high-resolution logo and visual brand guidelines or examples, images you'd like to include in brochure (if applicable), and finalized copy for brochure
  • Milestone 1: Information Gathering
    • Professional and Volunteer Manager meet to discuss goals of brochure, target audience, and style preferences
  • Milestone 2: Preliminary Design
    • Professional performs initial design and layout and sends to Organization for up to 3 rounds of review and feedback
  • Milestone 3: Final Design
    • Professional finalizes designs, digitizes the artwork and delivers high-res versions, along with print specs to Organization
    • Professional advises on best practices for printing
Prerequisites for Professional
  • Excellent graphic design skills
  • Proficiency with design software such as Adobe's creative suite
  • Working knowledge of standard printing specifications
  • Portfolio examples to share
