Event Photography
Project details
What we need
- A photographer who will attend the Organization's event to take photos
- A set of professionally edited, high-resolution images delivered in a digital format suitable for web or print use
- Note: The photographer needs to be available in the same geographical location as the Organization or be willing to travel at own expense
What we have in place
- We have been planning this conference for over a year, and will be hosting leaders in a variety of fields to ensure meaningful pertinent discussions. Among those speaking are Mitchell Silver, NYC Parks Commissioner; Gena Wirth, partner at SCAPE; and Dr. Richard Pouyat, US Forest Service.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,998 , allowing us to document interdisciplinary discussions about the importance of reclaimed urban space.
The Reclaimed Lands Conference is a four-day conference bringing together researchers, practitioners, planners, ecologists, artists, designers, community groups, and students to bridge the gaps between disciplines and productively explore the issues and initiatives surrounding these reclaimed lands. Topics will include monitoring changes in biodiversity, designing ecologically sustainable re-development, engaging residents in stewardship, transforming public perceptions, and inspiring future projects. The conference will be held from 6/28 - 7/1 at NYU Tisch: 721 Broadway, New York, NY 10003. We are seeking a photographer to document 1 to 4 days of the conference including speakers, panels, and field trips.
