What we'd like to talk about

I'd like to brainstorm ideas for what role to hire. Currently, the org is a one-person show. We have the funds to hire someone part-time to help the organization grow.

"Phone calls" are 1 hour, one-time calls with an organization. Learn the difference between volunteering on a Phone call and a Project here.

Our mission

Subscript Law is a nonprofit committed to enhancing the legal and political decision-making of Americans. We envision an American public that can fully understand current events, can advocate politically, and can think legally.

What we do

We help lawyers and professionals follow the Supreme Court by providing reports on cases in infographics.

Testimonials

The call with James went wonderfully. It was productive and enjoyable. James was interested in getting to know about the organization and our HR needs. We brainstormed together, searched various angles for a potential new hire, and I left the phone call very motivated about our next HR steps. James was able to work with the constraints of a small nonprofit in considering our needs, and part of it was his willingness to really get to know me, the founder, and to learn about the direction of the organization. He also offered to keep in touch as we prepare next steps. I highly recommend working with James.

Human Resources Phone call

In advance of our meeting, Miriam very helpfully provided additional information that allowed me to better prepare for our time together. Though her passion for her cause is indelible and unwavering, she was receptive to thought-provoking questions about her non-profit business model. The answers to these questions helped us focus on possible human capital solutions within the constraints of her organizational model. I found Miriam to be bright, forceful yet humble and very engaging. She understands the value of Catchafire's model and was a joy to work with. We discussed ways that we could continue to interact as she progresses with the human resources solutions we discussed. -James Taylor, Managing Partner at tailormadepeoplesolutions.com
