Project details
What we need
- A photographer who will work with the Organization over 1-2 days to capture an important event or shoot a series of photographs to tell the Organization's story
- A set of professionally edited, high-resolution images delivered in JPEG or TIFF format suitable for web or print use
- Note: The photographer needs to be available in the same geographical location as the Organization or be willing to travel at own expense
What we have in place
- We currently have access to our leaders' calendars, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have ideas about locations in and around our Atlanta headquarters, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,048 , allowing us to fund groundbreaking cancer research and support patients and their caregivers at every step of the cancer journey.
We are seeking a photographer who can take professional-caliber photos of about a dozen of our Atlanta-based senior executives. We are thinking of these photos as headshot alternatives -- a bit more casual and accessible than the traditional stuffy headshot.
The photos will be used across several mediums -- basically any time we want to project a more relatable image. The photos will be used for internal and external emails; conferences, and other potential opportunities across print and web.

Project plan
Our mission
The American Cancer Society’s mission is to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.
What we do
The American Cancer Society is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. Our Global Headquarters are located in Atlanta, Georgia, and we have regional and local offices throughout the country to ensure we have a presence in every community.
While most people know us for our research, we do so much more. We attack cancer from every angle. We promote healthy lifestyles to help you prevent cancer. We research cancer and its causes to find more answers and better treatments. We fight for lifesaving policy changes. We provide everything from emotional support to the latest cancer information for those who have been touched by cancer. And we do it all 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
